Try this without the cinnamon. Use plain full fat yogurt, not Greek yogurt.
- 1 tsp ground thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast cut into large chunks
1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt.
1/4 cup lemon juice
6 garlic cloves crushed
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
In a large bowl, add the ingredients for the marinade and whisk to combine.
Place the chicken cubes in a plastic bag and add the marinade. Leave it for at least 4 hours, and overnight if possible.
Cook the chicken for about 12 – 15 minutes and serve.
